Who We Are
Winters Theatre Company (WTC) is a 501C non-profit performing arts organization which offers the community a wide range of quality theatrical experiences while supporting local arts and education.

We offer all members of the community the opportunity to express their creativity, whether it’s acting on stage, designing costumes, designing and building sets, helping in the kitchen during productions, stage managing, or assisting with tickets/ushering.  We have a place for anyone and everyone who has an interest in being a part of true community theatre!

WTC is the oldest drama group in Yolo County and has operated for over 36 years!   Since its inception in 1980, the Winters Theatre Company has presented over 100 varied plays to the community and region, including drama (Collected Stories), mysteries (Ravenscroft), farces (Rumors), comedies (Sylvia), musicals  (Peter Pan, The Wizard of Oz), and summertime Shakespeare in the Park (A Midsummer Night’s Dream).

Winters Theatre Company is a member of the Sacramento Area Regional Theatre Alliance .

Our Community
We perform at the Winters Community Center, 201 Railroad Ave. in the picturesque community of Winters, California, located 12 miles north of Vacaville and 15 miles west of Davis.  Winters boasts many fine restaurants, music venues, boutiques, and recreational activities.  Spend the day in Winters and cap off your day enjoying a play presented by Winters Theatre Company!

We contribute financially to multiple local non-profit organizations, including the Winters PTA, and host benefit nights for various organizations, which have included:

  1. Hello,

My husband and I will be relocating to Sacramento early next year. I was wondering how I could find out about any upcoming auditions. I have some theatre experience, between high school, college, and community theatre (Way Off Broadway Community Players – Austin, TX), and I’d like the opportunity to continue to entertain and serve my new community. Thank you!
