Pigs is Pigs and Other Ellis Parker Butler Stories – A Staged Reading

Butler, a prolific American humorist and author of the early twentieth century, is best known for his classic story “Pigs is Pigs” which relates the tale of a railway agent and the chaos that ensues when he recieves a shipment of two guinea pigs. The production also includes a selection of other pieces from the rich collection of Butler’s works.

The Best Christmas Pageant Ever

The Best Christmas Pageant Ever, the delightful holiday classic by Barbara Robinson, tells the hilariously chaotic story of the Herdmans, “probably the most inventively awful kids in history”, who end up in the annual church Christmas pageant after crashing Sunday School for the free treats. Much mayhem and fun takes place when the Herdmans collide head-on with the story of Christmas but ultimately the true spirit of Christmas, emphasizing acceptance, and kindness shines through.
